With around two minutes left against Willow Canyon on October 17, 2025, Cactus coaches moved defensive lineman King Williams into the backfield. He broke through contact for a 16-yard rushing touchdown, completing a 70–0 Homecoming victory.

More than a box-score line

The game feature published by AZPreps365 recounts the touchdown and shares comments from Cactus coach Brian Belles about planning the moment in advance. For King, it became a memorable sign of what teammates and coaches recognized in his work: persistence and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.

His MaxPreps player report also records the rushing touchdown. This remains one of the signature highlights of his high school career and a reminder that his story is bigger than defensive tackle totals.
